		<description>I worked in the valley about a decade ago.  I lived in a tent in Curry Village. While in the park I saw every type of animal represented except for bears.  Man, did I want to see a bear.  I would sleep outside on the ground in areas that were known for bear sitings just so I could see one, but it never happened.  I guess it was my odor that kept them away.  I'm returning in a few weeks with my wife.  I hope to see one this time.  If you know any bears please put in a good word for me.
