Half Dome Cables Are Up
Since I, myself, was in the High Sierra enjoying a winters storm, high winds, and a bear in my camp (more on that later) I didn’t get the chance to tell everyone, the Half Dome cables are up.
Remember, The trail to the Dome is closed during the week at the shoulder for trail work making the cables unreachable.
Please don’t “bushwack” to reach the cables. The impact of the thousands of feet that make the pilgrimage daily would be devastating.
