It’s Snow-Fun in Yosemite
There’s nothing that compares to winter in Yosemite. The new fallen snow. The beauty of the natural landscape. Except possibly seeing it all by moonlight. That’s right, the moonlight snowshoe walks are back and Yosemite could never be much more beautiful than it is.
Description: a two mile snowshoe to an overlook in the beauty of moonlight. Natural and cultural history of Badger Pass is the subject area.
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Tickets: $14.75 (includes snowshoes)/ $5 if you have your own. Tickets must be pre-purchased from tour desks or at Badger Pass.
Transportation: Guests must provide their own. Takes 45 min to 1 hour to drive to Badger weather permitting.
Weather: If weather conditions look iffy, call tour desk for confirmation of walk before heading up the hill.
Experience: not necessary. Children under 12 may find the walk too difficult.
