Yosemite Climber and Paramedic Saves Lives One Last Time

I’m glad there are people like this in the world. What a great guy. Be sure to read all the story over at SF Gate.

SF Gate: “As in life, paramedic Daniel Paul Scott went on saving people after dying in a rock-climbing accident.

Mr. Scott’s major organs went to six people in California and Colorado, said April Scott, his wife. Doctors were able to use both lungs and kidneys, his liver, pancreas and heart.

Often, as he headed to his job at American Medical Response in Oakland, he would joke, ‘I’m off to save some lives.’ He had made it clear to his family that he wanted to donate his organs should anything happen to him.”
