This is just a minor correction but from what the employees of Yosemite have been saying, Cal Trans had pulled the contractor from Hwy 140 and pulled out themselves because the area was too dangerous. We were told that they weren't even going to look at the road for two weeks. Then today 5/30 it slid big time and covered the road with debris even going into the river. It's very tough on the employees living in Mariposa because they have a 2 hours commute each way, commuting with tourist traffic. Believe me they are tired!!!
