Coming up from Carson City, we were told to take 120 from 395 and that there is a great gas station/food joint. But 120 seems to be closed with no estimated open date. So we were thinking of taking 88 to 49 to 120 from west side. Smeone told us that Sonora Pass (108) is a good drive though very curvy. Any suggestions on to see or do, eat, fill up gas on our way up either from 88 or 108? Anything to make it an enjoyable drive/trip....we have two small (5 and 2 yr olds) children. Any idea on 120 opening within the next week (we travle starting next friday.....June 23). THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! If you can find some pics can you post them or send me some? I was up at Leavitt Meadows this past weekend. It snowed in the afternoon all three days. I have pics of Sonora Pass if interested?
