Early summer in Yosemite and the Sierra can be very beautiful and if you love wildflowers then I’m going to give you a tip, don’t go to the Valley. Though they’re still a bit soggy the meadows along the Glacier Point Road are plentiful with wildflowers of all sizes and colors. The ones in the photo were about the size of a dime and the spider is so small I didn’t even see him until I put the image up on a monitor.

So grab your camera, some bug repellent, and a good pair of boots and head up to the Glacier Point Road.
