The last 840 feet require use of these cables. On a beautiful summer day, this means a line. I thought I hiked 8 miles out into the wilderness of Yosemite to avoid lines??

Thanks for making this your daily photo! I’m going to have to go again this year. I’ve heard the line is significantly less if you get there around sunrise.
