A New Poll and the Results from Julys
If you haven’t noticed it there’s a new poll up in the sidebar. The question for August is: “Have you ever committed a crime in Yosemite?”
I’m gonna come clean and upfront say that yes, I have received a speeding ticket in Yosemite. I was about 10 miles an hour over the posted speed limit coming down the Big Oak Flat Road into the Valley. But I’m rehabilitated now!
Last months poll, “In the light of the recent death on Half Dome, do you think limits should be imposed on the number of people who can climb the cables each day?”
52% of respondents said “Yes, it’s not safe like it is now.” 39.7% said “No” with a whopping 8.2% unsure.
So lets have some fun. Head over to the sidebar at right and let your voice be heard. There is an election coming you know, might as-well get some practice in now.
