
Now I know I know this lake but I don’t remember which it is. The peaks in the background are pretty easy to recognize. Name or no name though, I thought this made for a really cool Photo of the Day.

It’s (I believe) June Lake - the first one you come upon from that switchback up to the Gaylor Basin from Tioga Pass, the shot is taken from the trail looking out to Cathedral etc.
Haven’t had time to tag/describe photos yet, will try and catch up soon.

Beautiful balance in this shot and the colors…oh, my! Makes me want to dip a canoe paddle in the do some exploring.
