BREAKING NEWS: More Snow Expected with up to 15″ at Higher Elevations
I just checked with the National Weather Service for the Yosemite. A heavy snow warning remains in effect until this evening for the Yosemite area. More rain and higher elevation snow showers are expected as the low pressure that brought this weeks snow moves northeast across California and into Nevada. Snow levels are expected to drop to 7,500 feet with up to 6 inches by end of day today. Up to 15 inches of snow are possible at higher elevations. Winter-like conditions are expected in many areas of the park. Please use caution and travel prepared. Warmer, drier conditions are expected next week.
