Today’s Photo of the Day was sent in by Ed Hughes. Ed said, “Here is a bear cub in the valley on Oct 7th, Mom was keeping a close eye on me. I was suprised to see a cub this small this late in the year. Neither of the bears were tagged.”

Congratulations Ed! I think that I shot a few photos of the same Mom and cub this morning. Unfortunately they did not turn out very well. You did a really nice job with the lightening and the composition. Well done!
