Hi, I’m Edie, and I am gobsmacked on a daily basis by Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada.

First, Thank you Loyd for inviting me to join YosemiteBlog.com. I’m Edie (AKA Ambitious Wench), and I live and work in Yosemite valley. I work for DNC, the current concessionaire. I’m a photographer, a backpacker, a car-camper, and former renfaire performer. I will be providing news as it happens here in Yosemite, or as soon as I can get to my computer if I’m working.

Additionally I will be writing up trip reports when I meander around the Sierra Nevada and nearby areas. Stay tuned for a report of my latest trip, the Ancient Bristlecone Pines in the White Mountains.
