Hello Yosemite Blog, I’m Dane
Hello, I’m Dane Carlson. First off, thank you Loyd for inviting me to participate on Yosemite Blog. Like Loyd said, my wife and her family are from Mariposa, so I’m in the area often and in the park as often as I can. My wife homeschools our two sons, and I’m an internet entrepreneur.
I’m a long-time blogger, and so many of my posts will be more bloggy than the journal-like entries from some of the other new editors, but I look forward to sharing a story or two.
For a little over 30 years now I've enjoyed hiking, backpacking, fishing, photographing and exploring Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. Yosemite Blog presents me with the opportunity to share, with you, the beauty and the grandeur of Yosemite and the High Sierra. Read the
