It also takes credit cards 24 hours a day. While the prices of gas at Crane Flat and Wawona are higher than in the central valley, they are MUCH lower than at El Portal. There is a small gas station in Midpine as well, on the way to Mariposa. I'd recommend using that one instead of El Portal.
