The Return of Photo of the Day
You may have notice I haven’t been doing any Photo of the Day’s for the past few weeks. Don’t worry I didn’t do away with it. It just went on a short break until spring came and more photos started pouring into the pool.
Now that Photo of the Day is back from hiatus why not start with a beautiful shot of Vernal Fall. This shot was taken by Frank K. yesterday and already he’s got it up on Flickr (oops my bad. Need to learn to read captions) back in 2004.

Yep, I was going to say that wasn’t recent.
That’s a common morning run for me. A few weeks back, before I left on vacation, there was still snow on the trail to the footbridge. Now the snow is almost entirely gone, but the winter closure gate is still in place and it doesn’t quite have that high spring flow yet.
