Yosemite Association Forum
The Yosemite Association (YA) sponsors 2 member forum each year. They just had the Spring ‘08 function. There were about 200 people at the Village for this one. The Park Superintendent (Mike Tollefsen) and the CEO of YA (David Guy) spoke, along with many other programs. I got a neat tour of the Ahwahnee Lodge and heard a super Ranger talk. Many authors also attend and give presentations. These are very worthwhile to attend. The Fall ’08 Event will be held Sept 6 at Wawona, at the south end of the park. Lodging and program details will be coming out this summer. Try to attend. The ’09 Spring Forum at will be March 28…You can reserve a tent cabin NOW. I suggest a heated wood cabin…it is very cold at night in late March. JOIN THE YA!
