Phil Walker took this excellent photo of El Capitan at night. What makes it special? Take a closer look. The white dots on El Cap aren’t dust on the lens, they’re actually the lights of climbers spending the night on the rock.
Pretty cool, Phil. Nice work.

I’m looking for a special place, out of the way from the valley floor, high up on a mountain top over looking the valley. Is there such a place. I so need to get away to peaceful yosemite, but avoid at all costs tourism. Many thanks!
