The flight is about 10 to 15 minutes. The park service will only allow hang gliders to launch in the early morning before there is a chance for the warm air to rise- at most other sites we soar the rising air for hours and miles, but we put up with the rules restricting us to a short flight here because it so beautiful.
p.s. did you get the high resolution DVD version of the original hang gliding video I sent?
