TV’s Survivor Man Makes a Go At Surviving Just Outside Yosemite

Guess who’s up in the Sierra just outside Yosemite filming an episode of hit hit TV series Survivor Man. That’s right, it’s none other than the Survivor Man himself, Les Stroud.
So far Les has been just outside Oakhurst in the same general area a SAR took place this winter “surviving”. According to his blog it’s been going OK until he was caught by one of our famous Sierra thunderstorms. On Day 7 a SAR was initiated as a training exercise to find him. He’s not hiding, but he’s not making it easier for them either.
Les Stroud’s Blog: “They are out looking for me with dogs, on horseback, on ATVs, in Jeeps, in a chopper and on foot. It’s about three hours into their search time so far and I’ve had no sign of them. I won’t hide from them, I’ll be fair, but I won’t make it easy for them either.”

So, when do we get the rest of the story, ie, did SAR find him? His blog post was dated 5/21…Anyone got the local beta?
