Photo of the Day: Yosemite by Kyle Roderick

I love summer in California. Unfortunately it’s not the most interesting time to be a nature photographer. The skies are blue and listless. The light is often overly bright and washes everything out. It’s great for a suntan but lousy for photography. This photo, however, is the exception. I stumbled across this one while reviewing the 400+ photos in my Flickr RSS feed and knew it was the perfect Photo of the Day. The lights and darks are great. Very nice shot Kyle.
