Yosemite Body Identified as Missing UCD Student
CBS 5: “A body discovered in a remote Yosemite canyon was identified Tuesday as a foreign exchange student who went missing June 20, authorities said.
South Korean University student Hyun Do Ahn, 25, had studied English for a year at the University of California, Davis when he set out alone to hike from Yosemite National Park to Mount Whitney, about 212 miles south.
Ahn’s backpack was found Friday and searchers discovered his body Saturday in Tenaya Canyon, a wilderness area with no trail access, said park spokesman Scott Gediman.”
